Programmatic direct comes to life with the 1to1 roadshow

In 2015, the European programmatic industry praised the very first edition of the 1to1 Roadshow powered by Last stop was in Milan end of November. We will be back in 2016. Bigger, better and stickier.



A quick concept refresher designed the first event dedicated to programmatic direct: the 1to1 Roadshow. This event, clearly business-oriented, aims to help key digital players better understand and leverage programmatic direct. Programmatic direct means premium deals directly negotiated between buyers and sellers in a automated fashion.

A successful first edition

In 2015, the 1to1 Roadshow stopped in 4 main European cities (Hamburg, Paris, Amsterdam and Milan) gathering 50+ premium media brands (including TF1, Ster, Spiegel, RCS, M6, Conde Nast…) and major buyers (including GroupM, Mindshare, Xaxis, Cadreon, OMG…). That’s the Sticky touch: serious business in a smart casual atmosphere. They all enjoyed this new business experience, helping them to better grasp the potential of programmatic direct.

Programmatic direct, not just another buzzword

With the 1to1 Roadshow, StickyADS,tv wants to empower premium publishers and major buyers to make the most out of programmatic direct. All the more since eMarketer recently confirmed it is here to stay: “As that growth continues, programmatic direct will continue to increase more quickly than real-time bidding, growing from 52.0% of all programmatic spending this year to 54.0% by 2017.”

Boost programmatic direct transactions through speed-dating for deal IDs and networking

Premium publishers get the opportunity to meet up to 10 different buyers in one day and one place. For 15 minutes, they promote their inventory and aim to secure as many direct deals as possible. The 1to1 Roadshow also aims to be a local networking hub for key programmatic players. Things change fast in the programmatic industry, so connecting with a wider audience (publishers, agencies, trading desks, DSP, DMP, journalists…) to discuss industry hot topics is an efficient way to stay up to date.

An improved version in 2016

Following this huge success, we have decided to launch a second edition in 2016. The 1to1 Roadshow will visit more cities in Europe and even cross the Atlantic. It will evolve too, introducing the Sticky Tech Corner, a product-oriented session dedicated to Sticky VIP Publishers to help them make the most out of the technology. Stay tuned for the 2016 edition. Germany will be our first stop. Save the date, Hamburg, March 14, 2016, the 1to1 Roadshow will be in town.
